Terms of Licensing
The tiers, activation cycle and permitted use for Seyon NexGen silicon IP and device platforms.
Licensing tiers
Seyon NexGen licenses hardware-software stacks across three partner tiers. Each tier defines what may be manufactured, sublicensed and distributed.
- Foundry — process-specific integration and characterisation, with sublicensing rights within an agreed customer set.
- OSAT — packaging and test integration, including the fingerprint provisioning flow and attestation key handling.
- ODM — reference platform manufacturing under annual activation for fielded units.
Annual activation cycle
Device platforms operate on a 365-day activation cycle. A successful licensing transaction writes a token that flags the hardware identifier as authorised; the device then syncs a fresh security key over the air and unlocks its edge-AI cryptographic processing loops.
Permitted use
Licensed cores and runtimes may be deployed in the sectors named in the partner agreement. Deployments in safety-critical or regulated environments require the workload review included with every tier before production release.
Model fingerprint integrity
Licensees may not disable, bypass or substitute the Inference Verification Protocol in shipped devices. The attestation chain is what makes a Seyon deployment auditable, and a device that signs decisions it did not make is worse than one that signs nothing.
Support and escalation
Licensing questions route through the licensing channel; SDK and runtime issues through the developer ecosystem channel; regulatory and governance matters through the compliance channel. All three are listed in the site footer.
